Disciple or merely "Religious"

What is the difference between a Disciple of Christ and a "Religious Person"?

Tim Keller gives a comparison list":

RP: I obey, therefore I'm accepted.
DoC:  I'm accepted, therefore I obey.

RP: Motivation is based on fear and insecurity.
DoC: Motivation is based on grateful joy.

RP: I obey God in order to get things from God.
DoC: I obey God to get to God--to delight and resemble Him.

RP: My identity and self-worth are based mainly on how hard I work, or how moral I am.
DoC: My identity and self-worth are centered on the one who died for His enemies.  I am saved by sheer grace.

It is the difference between knowing Jesus and knowing about Jesus.
